Think Bubble is made up of the creative duo, Janette Phillips and Diana Fegredo. The following was published in an article run in the trade magazine ‘Progressive Greetings’ and will give you an insight into how we came to be running a card company…

London, Paris, Copenhagen, San Diego… Birmingham (oh well, they can’t all be glamorous!) – the comic convention circuit encompasses the globe and could fill up your entire social calendar should you so wish! While the comic creators are doing their thing, signing, sketching and smoozing with their fans, what do the wives and girlfriends, who have opted to go along and partake in the free hospitality, do? Go shopping, drink frothy coffees and check out the local culture of course…

 
Sean Phillips and Duncan Fegredo met through their coincidental rise to comic fame in the 80′s. We were all ex art students with a taste for fun, indie culture and the odd glass of wine or two. Janette and Diana soon realised that they enjoyed spending their free time with a mixture of high brow cultural pursuits and low brow shopping trips and soon developed a friendship that carried on inbetween the city breaks.

 
Over the years, with weddings, children, proper jobs, freelance jobs, no jobs, they have stayed in touch and been able to support each other and their husbands in the way that only people going through the same things can.

 
Just over a year ago Janette asked Diana if she would like to set up a company together. They had both been painting, teaching, designing and Diana had even been helping run a successful gift shop. The rest is history…
